What you'll do

• Quote low- to moderate-profile projects
• review bid packages and technical, manufacturer, commercial, and documentation requirements
• coordinate proposal strategy with Outside Sales or branches
• format customer requests for bid review
• issue requests for quotation to vendors
• compile bid tabulations
• prepare and submit proposals
• may negotiate supplier pricing and offer substitute products where appropriate
• maintain customer and supplier relationships
• use digital tools to promote products and product knowledge
• attend product meetings and training.
