Medicare Part D Billing Representative

Job overview

The Medicare Part D Billing Representative role is remote across the continental United States, with work scheduled Monday–Friday, 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Central Time. Compensation is $19–$20 per hour. PharMerica, part of BrightSpring Health Services, provides long-term care pharmacy services to healthcare organizations. The role coordinates prior authorizations and billing-related follow-up among healthcare facilities, pharmacists, physicians, and prescription drug plans, helping resolve authorization requests and payment denials through accurate documentation and communication.

What you'll do

• Contact facilities, plans, and physician offices to obtain approvals and supporting information
• process and track prior authorizations
• document clinical justifications and complete authorization forms
• follow up on outstanding claims
• communicate with billing offices, pharmacy directors, customers, and prescription drug plans
• support the RxAllow team
• meet call and claim productivity goals
• follow company policies and applicable laws and standards.
