Electronics Technician

Job overview

The Electronics Technician will train at the Westinghouse Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA, then travel to various nuclear sites for work assignments. Pay is $50–$55 per hour. The role supports operations and maintenance of EDM equipment and generalized instrumentation and controls field work. The technician installs, calibrates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs instrumentation and control systems, operates precision EDM equipment, and documents maintenance and testing to support manufacturing operations and applicable safety and quality procedures.

What you'll do

• Perform instrumentation and controls tasks involving circuits, PLCs, sensors, and automated process control systems
• operate, set up, and program ZAP EDM sinker machines
• document maintenance and maintain equipment logs
• test instrumentation using meters, oscilloscopes, and simulators
• interpret drawings and test procedures
• operate electronic and electrical test equipment
• read schematics and wiring diagrams
• follow quality, health, and safety procedures
• perform required field cable installation.
