Medical Assistant

What you'll do

• Use integrated computer applications
• complete pre-charting
• prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including medical history, vital signs, point-of-care testing, and electronic record rooming
• set up rooms
• explain processes and tests
• participate in team huddles
• complete provider orders
• process electronic record messages and prescription requests
• assist providers during procedures and chaperone as needed
• label and process specimens
• document in medical records
• clean and stock rooms and equipment.
