The Warranty and RMA Process Subject Matter Expert role is onsite in Palo Alto, CA, with stated pay of $70–$74 per hour. The role supports warranty operations and return management in an automotive Tier 1 environment, partnering with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Product Support, and Business Process teams. The specialist designs and improves the end-to-end warranty and return operating model, establishing processes, controls, governance, and performance measures. This work is intended to improve return-cycle performance, failure analysis, customer support, and operational visibility.

What you'll do

• Design the warranty return operating model
• define RMA lifecycle processes, controls, and governance
• establish warranty policies and escalation procedures
• define return intake, tracking, reverse logistics, disposition, recovery, and closure processes
• develop investigation and failure-analysis workflows
• establish KPIs and support executive reporting and operational reviews.
