Optometric Technician – All Family Vision Care

The Optometric Technician – All Family Vision Care role is onsite in Corvallis, OR, with compensation of $16–$19 per hour. The technician supports optometrists and patients through eye examinations and clinical eye care at All Family Vision Care. The role prepares patients and records their histories, performs pre-testing and other clinical tests, assists with contact lenses and medications, and supports patient flow and office operations. This work helps the optometrist deliver an organized examination and patient-care experience.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for examinations and document vision and medical histories
• use clinical instruments to take measurements and administer tests
• perform contact lens insertion and teach insertion and removal
• order lenses and manage trial inventory
• administer topical ophthalmic and dilation medications
• scribe and translate as needed
• assist with patient flow, phones, insurance verification, check-in and checkout, chart scanning, and office cleanliness
• perform directed therapy exercises or procedures.
