Civil Project Engineer

Job overview

The Civil Project Engineer role is onsite in Fargo, ND, with compensation of $75,000–$95,000 per year. MBN Engineering delivers land development projects and consulting services for clients across the upper Midwest. The engineer leads civil site projects from early feasibility through design and construction closeout, coordinating with clients, municipalities, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams. The work includes developing grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater designs, preparing construction documents and cost estimates, and supporting permitting and construction administration.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, surveyors, clients, and design teams
• prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates
• develop grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and erosion-control designs
• review technical work
• mentor less experienced staff
• attend client and design meetings
• visit construction sites as required and support construction administration.
