The Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) — Ophthalmology, Day Shift role is onsite in Deerfield, MA, with pay of $28–$34 per hour. Animal Eye Care of New England is a specialty ophthalmology referral practice serving animal patients and their families. The technician supports veterinarians during ophthalmology appointments and surgery, providing anesthesia and patient care, communicating with clients, and helping maintain an organized daily workflow.

What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians during ophthalmology appointments and surgical procedures
• prepare, monitor, and care for patients undergoing anesthesia
• communicate with clients about patient care and treatment
• handle and restrain patients humanely
• place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, administer medication, fill prescriptions, perform laboratory procedures, document information, and support daily workflow.
