Production Inspector (Day Shift) System Protection

The Production Inspector is an onsite role based in Chicago, IL, with a pay range of $22.50–$23.75 per hour. This position supports the System Protection assembly team at G&W Electric Co, a global leader in engineered electrical power grid solutions. The role exists to inspect component parts and completed products for conformance to production controls and ISO standards. The inspector ensures quality by creating process control charts, reporting findings, and maintaining a safe, clean working environment.

What you'll do

• Perform final inspection on switches and shipped orders
• train personnel in process control methods
• prepare reports
• manage non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• report ISO standard violations
• implement process control charts.
