The Portuguese (Portugal) Language Analyst role is 100% onsite at one of the listed locations: New York City; Seattle, Bellevue, or Redmond; San Francisco, Sunnyvale, or Burlingame; Austin; Los Angeles; Washington, DC; Chicago; or Boston. It is a W-2, 40-hour-per-week position paying $26–$28 per hour, depending on location and experience. The analyst supports Welo Data’s Speech & Voice AI team, which builds audio, speech, and language datasets for production AI systems. The role creates accurate, consistent speech and voice data through transcription, tagging, and categorization. Analysts follow evolving guidelines, maintain throughput and quality targets, escalate unclear cases, and participate in team calibrations to support reliable datasets.
