It supports departmental production goals by following process documentation and safety practices, preparing materials, inspecting completed items, and maintaining equipment and workspace standards.

What you'll do

• Fabricate and repair production-related items using MIG welding
• verify process documentation sign-offs
• maintain workspace using 5S principles
• follow safety procedures
• cut, shape, and trim materials with grinders, an iron worker, and hand tools
• read blueprints
• inspect items for defects
• perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• take ownership of the welding process.
