The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care and assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring age-appropriate and resident-centered care.

What you'll do

• Serves as caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods in long-term care.
• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Delivers age-appropriate care related to physical and psychological needs.
• Follows infection prevention and control policies.
• Provides assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, and psychosocial support.
• Assists with transferring, repositioning, and walking.
• Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining.
• Assists residents with meals and snacks.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes.
• Communicates resident's changing condition to charge nurse.
• Collects specimens and gathers vital signs.
• Provides housekeeping and laundry services.
• Encourages resident participation in wellness and recreational programs.

What we're looking for

Education

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Experience

Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
