Direct Materials Strategic Sourcing Manager (Automotive)

The Direct Materials Strategic Sourcing Manager (Automotive) role is onsite in Washington, MI. Compensation is $80,000–$120,000 per year. What you'll do

• Design and execute direct-material sourcing strategies across the Americas
• lead RFQs, supplier down-selects, quote analysis, and negotiations
• build supplier relationships around quality, delivery, cost, and supply continuity
• pursue cost reduction and value engineering
• track commodity pricing and supply risks
• support new product introductions and program purchasing
• review supplier performance and resolve escalations
• maintain purchasing data in SAP/ERP
• develop and mentor buyers and purchasing team members.

Why this role
