Dental Hygienist — Sturgeon Bay

The Dental Hygienist role is onsite in Sturgeon Bay, WI, and pays $50–$55 per hour. NEW Community Clinic’s mission is to provide quality, comprehensive, compassionate healthcare to underserved community members, regardless of ability to pay. The hygienist provides preventive dental care, screens for oral disease, takes diagnostic radiographs, documents patient histories and services, and helps maintain dental supplies in accordance with the dental practice act.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for hygiene treatment
• maintain and select instruments
• capture and label diagnostic digital radiographs
• perform dental prophylaxis
• screen for oral cancer and periodontal disease
• maintain dental supplies inventory
• document vital signs, medical and dental histories, and services in patient records.
