Horizontal Directional Drill Operator and Locator

The Horizontal Directional Drill Operator and Locator role is an onsite position in Merced, CA. Pay is $25–$40 per hour. MP NEXLEVEL installs underground telecommunications cable conduit, including fiber-optic cable. The operator runs horizontal directional drill rigs and support equipment, prepares and cleans work sites, follows safety procedures, checks permits and utility locates, inspects work, and performs minor equipment maintenance. The locator confirms bore paths and clearances, completes job-site analysis paperwork, and records tool-head depth.

Why this role
