Primary Care Scheduler

The Primary Care Scheduler works onsite in Wentzville, MO, Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week. Pay is $18.39 per hour. The role supports clients’ access to primary care services across multiple locations. The scheduler manages appointment communications and patient information, coordinates schedules across providers, and works with clinical and administrative teams to help patients receive accurate, timely appointment support.

What you'll do

• Manage high-volume incoming calls to schedule, reschedule, and coordinate appointments
• schedule for multiple providers and locations
• return voicemail messages promptly
• verify and update patient and insurance information
• explain visit requirements
• assist with appointment urgency triage in collaboration with nurses or providers
• arrange interpreter services
• check insurance eligibility and enter data into the EHR
• follow up after missed appointments
• monitor schedules and fill cancellations
• use Phreesia
• collaborate with clinic staff and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
