Junior Cloud Solutions Engineer, U.S. Citizenship Required

The Junior Cloud Solutions Engineer role is fully remote for a U.S.-based U.S. citizen able to obtain a federal security clearance, with core hours of 8 AM–5 PM Eastern, Monday–Friday. Pay is $120,000–$145,000 per year. ViaTrie supports the U.S. Government Accountability Office Innovation Lab’s cloud capabilities. The engineer plans and designs cloud architectures, develops cost estimates, and builds environments to support enterprise cloud services and modernization. The role contributes to cloud migration and implementation planning, with attention to security, resilience, compliance, and DevSecOps approaches.

What you'll do

• Plan and engineer IT service architectures for GAO Innovation Lab capabilities
• create and execute migration plans for mission-critical applications
• assess on-premises applications and services for alignment with AWS environments
• work across groups to identify process impacts and business value
• develop infrastructure requirements and cost analyses, solution alternatives, and business cases
• support cloud networking and Linux systems
• develop operational procedures and infrastructure-as-code scripts and templates.
