The role combines calculations, simulation, material and laminate selection, testing, and close collaboration with fabricators to validate designs and support manufacturable products.

What you'll do

• Lead structural design and analysis of composite structures and processing equipment
• perform hand calculations for stress, deflection, buckling, fatigue, and joints
• develop and execute FEA models
• define laminate schedules, fiber orientations, and material systems
• collaborate with fabrication teams on layup, cure, and tooling requirements
• support structural test plans and correlate results
• document assumptions, load cases, analyses, and drawings
• contribute to design-for-manufacturability reviews.
