Account Specialist — Water Treatment

Job overview

The Account Specialist role is onsite in Austin, TX, with local travel to customer locations and approximately 5% travel outside the assigned region, including overnight stays. Compensation is $60,000–$90,000 per year. Apex Water and Process provides water and process management solutions to help customers improve efficiency, compliance, and sustainability. The role supports and grows assigned customer accounts while developing technical knowledge of water treatment programs. Through routine service, customer communication, and hands-on training, the specialist helps maintain treatment systems and may progress toward an Account Manager role.

What you'll do

• Serve existing customers and help grow the territory
• support water treatment programs for boiler, cooling, reverse osmosis, process, and drinking water systems
• work at customer sites to check program operation
• assist with chemical feed systems
• participate in delivery, installation, commissioning, and repair
• manage orders and inventory as skills develop
• support service reviews and customer seminars
• complete required safety training and travel as needed.
