The Butcher / Meat Cutter role is onsite in Charlotte, NC; pay is $18–$22 per hour. The position supports Reid’s Fine Foods, a specialty food store offering meats, wines, regional provisions, produce, prepared meals, and gift baskets. The meat cutter prepares and processes meat and seafood, maintains inventory and product quality, and assists with department operations. Accurate cutting, safe handling, merchandising, and guest service help maintain fresh products and a high-quality shopping experience.

What you'll do

• Cut specialty meats and seafood to guest requests
• assist with department inventory, ordering, and production planning
• receive, weigh, inspect, store, and rotate products
• prepare meat and seafood items using recipes and processes
• monitor storage temperatures
• follow sanitation and safety procedures
• assist with training department associates
• answer guest questions and make product recommendations.
