The Registered Nurse (RN) — PACU / Endoscopy role is an onsite, eight-week assignment in Rochester, NY, with a day schedule of 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., four 10-hour shifts, and 40 hours per week. Compensation is $60–$66 per hour. Compu-Vision Healthcare is recruiting for a procedural nursing assignment; traveler candidates are required and local candidates are not. The nurse provides procedural care for endoscopy patients and supports Pre-Anesthesia/PACU as needed. The role includes patient monitoring, preparation and recovery, clinical documentation, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, along with required weeknight, weekend, and holiday call coverage.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care for endoscopic and procedural services
• support EUS, ERCP, navigational bronchoscopy, EBUS, manometry, and Fibroscan
• perform IV placement and phlebotomy
• monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• assist with preparation, recovery, and discharge
• use specialized endoscopy equipment
• float to Pre-Anesthesia/PACU as needed
• document care
• collaborate with healthcare teams
• participate in required weeknight, weekend, and holiday call.

Why this role

First-time travelers are accepted. The assignment requires current RN credentials, ACLS and BLS, at least one year of RN experience, and endoscopy experience; call coverage is required.
