The Exterminator / Certified Pesticide Applicator (NYSDEC 7A & 7F) is an onsite role in Rochester, NY, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and occasional urgent response. Compensation is $55,000–$65,000 per year, plus benefits. Cirrus Manor is investing in an in-house pest management program at its adult home. The role owns daily pest monitoring and treatment work, maintains required pesticide records, and coordinates with the contracted pest-control vendor. It also supports prevention through staff training, resident education, and inspections of rooms and incoming belongings.

What you'll do

• Conduct daily monitoring rounds and maintain the facility pest map
• inspect resident rooms on a rotating schedule, at least monthly
• perform bed bug and rodent treatments using heat, residual, and biopesticide protocols
• service interceptors, monitors, and bait stations
• maintain NYSDEC pesticide application records
• co-lead weekly vendor meetings and escort the vendor on service visits
• inspect incoming furniture, resident belongings, and hospital returns
• train staff and educate residents on prevention and reporting.
