The Designer III role is onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Alto-Shaam’s design work for commercial foodservice equipment and its new product development programs and engineering changes. The role exists to translate product requirements into detailed, production-ready design solutions that meet performance, cost, timing, and quality targets. It contributes to engineering and manufacturing execution through CAD models and drawings, design reviews, accurate bills of materials, and cross-functional design support.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain parts, assemblies, and production drawings in SolidWorks
• translate product requirements into design solutions
• execute engineering change orders while considering downstream impacts
• prepare top-level CAD models and lead cross-functional design reviews and virtual builds
• perform applicable interference, clearance, and motion checks
• maintain drawing quality and standards
• support design-for-manufacturing and assembly and cost optimization
• manage bill-of-material structures
• contribute to design standards and libraries.
