Experienced Geotechnical/Environmental Driller

Job overview

The Experienced Geotechnical/Environmental Driller role is onsite in Tulsa, OK, with projects throughout Oklahoma and overnight travel of one to two weeks twice monthly or as needed. Pay is $65,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience. AIMRIGHT Testing & Engineering provides testing, engineering, site-development, and construction services for public and private clients. The driller performs subsurface exploration and sampling and installs environmental monitoring instrumentation and wells. Accurate field documentation, safe rig operation, and coordination with project teams support site and construction decisions.

What you'll do

• Perform subsurface exploration and sampling using auger, mud rotary, and rock drilling or coring techniques
• install instrumentation, standpipes, piezometers, and monitoring wells
• transport and operate drill rigs safely
• interpret project plans
• troubleshoot and maintain drilling equipment
• document drilling and sampling activities
• communicate with project teams, site personnel, and clients.
