Facility Technician

Job overview

Facility Technician is an onsite role in Virginia Beach, VA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation is $22–$27 per hour. The technician supports building, grounds, and equipment upkeep at a manufacturing facility.

What you'll do

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency building maintenance and repairs
• monitor HVAC systems
• handle basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, and general repairs
• complete preventive maintenance
• assist with equipment installation and modification
• support office, furniture, and factory equipment moves
• assist with manufacturing equipment maintenance as needed
• maintain grounds
• operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
• and order supplies. Requires two or more years of industrial or manufacturing facilities maintenance experience, forklift experience, and a valid driver’s license.
