Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist role is onsite in Tempe, AZ; pay is $70,000–$80,000 per year. Fuze HR Solutions is recruiting for an established electronics manufacturing organization, and the role reports to the Procurement Manager. The specialist purchases and expedites materials and services to support production and shipping schedules. The role contributes to cost control, inventory accuracy, supplier performance, and timely manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

• Purchase materials, goods, and services based on MRP and ERP requirements
• release approved purchase and work orders
• coordinate and expedite incoming materials
• manage RFx activities and evaluate supplier responses
• maintain procurement, delivery, quality, performance, and inventory records
• resolve material issues with Quality, Operations, and suppliers
• maintain item-master information
• address inventory discrepancies and obsolete inventory
• identify sourcing and cost-reduction opportunities
• measure supplier performance
• support supply-chain reporting and ISO requirements.

Why this role

A supply-chain degree or diploma, or five or more years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience in manufacturing, is listed. Electronics manufacturing experience is strongly preferred; CPIM, CSCP, or SCMP certification is a plus.
