Job overview
The Cartographer - Foundation Data Specialist is an onsite role based in Dupo, IL, with a salary range of $50,700 - $91,650 per year. This position supports the GEOINT Enterprise by providing technical expertise in foundation data production and integration. This role exists to ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of geospatial data used in map and chart production. The specialist will collaborate with partners, develop standard operating procedures, and perform quality control to support mission-critical intelligence operations.
What you'll do
- Provide tradecraft and technical support for Foundation Data production, data integration, and data partnerships.
- Produce and review national and international Foundation Data for map and chart production.
- Analyze and evaluate Foundation Data for coverage, accuracy, currency, completeness, and applicability.
- Participate in technical exchanges with Government and partner personnel.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), author how-to guides, and train team members.
