The Director of Development position is hybrid in Chicago, IL, with a salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year. The Center for Disability & Elder Law provides free legal services to low-income older adults and people with disabilities, working to expand access to justice. The director leads the organization’s fundraising program and builds the resources needed to grow its services. In partnership with the Executive Director, Board, and staff, the role develops fundraising strategy, cultivates donors and funders, oversees grants and communications, and supports organizational goals.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute fundraising programs covering foundations, corporations, government, individual donors, major gifts, planned giving, and events
• create a long-range development plan and calendar
• cultivate and steward donors
• coordinate fundraising strategy with leadership and the Board
• oversee development communications, grant calendar, applications, reports, donor visits, and fundraising events
• supervise the Development Associate.
