Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Compensation is $0 per year. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk role is onsite in Wathena, KS. The position supports Summit Truck Bodies, a manufacturer of custom-designed service and lube truck bodies, as it expands its workforce. The clerk helps move freight and parts through the warehouse accurately and safely by preparing shipping documents, receiving and checking shipments, distributing inventory, and packing customer orders. The role supports timely production and customer order fulfillment.

What you'll do

• Prepare and maintain shipping documents
• receive freight and verify deliveries against approved orders and bills of lading or invoices
• notify the inventory manager of discrepancies
• unpack shipments and distribute items to warehouse locations
• pull parts for work orders and customer orders
• pack and ship customer orders
• assist with cycle counts
• complete production and quality forms
• maintain a clean and safe work area and wear required PPE.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with good-standing MVR, at least one year of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience, and ability to operate a forklift; lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
