What you'll do

• Provide licensed care to assigned residents according to physician orders and applicable standards
• give and receive nursing reports
• maintain clean and sanitary work and care areas
• supervise certified nursing assistant services on the assigned unit
• record vital signs
• provide catheter, IV, and respiratory care within license limits
• transcribe physician orders
• administer medications and treatments
• document care and resident responses
• account for controlled drugs at shift change
• address safety risks
• report shift activities
• and admit, transfer, or discharge residents as needed.
