What you'll do

• Conduct oral assessments and interpret portable radiographs
• design daily mouth-care plans and oversee fluoride applications or cleanings
• perform fillings, periodontal treatment, extractions, and denture repair or relining
• prescribe antibiotics or analgesics as needed
• coordinate with medical staff regarding polypharmacy
• assess resident oral health using standardized nursing-facility tools
• educate staff on daily oral hygiene.
