The Transmission and Substation Engineering Standards Intern is an onsite position based in Denver, CO, with a pay range of $21.20 to $24.60 per hour. This role supports the Standards team at Xcel Energy, which maintains specifications for the design, procurement, and construction of the transmission system. The role exists to assist with standards development, including scope creation, knowledge transfer, and document preparation. The intern will gain exposure to a wide breadth of the company's transmission operations and work across various internal work groups.

What you'll do

• Support Standards projects under the guidance of engineering staff.
• Perform entry-level engineering analyst tasks.
• Assist with standards development and scope creation.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer from subject matter experts.
• Prepare project documentation and maintain process reviews.
