Aerial Drop Technician

The Aerial Drop Technician is an onsite role based in Clarks Summit, PA, with a pay range of $22.00–$27.00 per hour. This position supports the fiber and coaxial network deployment team at FiOptix by installing and maintaining aerial telecommunications drop lines. This role exists to ensure reliable network connectivity for customers by performing installations, splicing, and testing of aerial infrastructure. The technician works at heights and operates specialized equipment to meet construction and safety standards.

What you'll do

• Install aerial fiber, telephone, and coax drop lines
• climb utility poles or operate bucket trucks
• perform splicing, terminations, and testing
• conduct site assessments
• maintain accurate documentation and equipment records
• adhere to safety regulations.
