What you'll do

• Design standards-based science lessons for grades 6–12, including potentially mixed grade levels
• assess student progress and adapt instruction
• create a safe, supportive, trauma-informed classroom
• develop and update progress monitoring plans with learners
• conduct academic advising and document progress
• maintain attendance, IEP, RTI, gradebook, and progress records
• collaborate with colleagues and participate in occasional after-hours events. Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher, an active Florida teaching certificate or Statement of Eligibility, and science subject knowledge for grades 6–12.
