What you'll do

• Review patient medical information, allergies, medications, and history
• take vital signs
• educate patients and obtain informed consent
• document in the EMR
• prepare procedure rooms and patients, including IV starts and positioning
• provide conscious sedation to selected patients as needed, with company training
• assist physicians during procedures
• answer patient questions
• monitor recovery
• review discharge instructions and medications
• complete discharge documentation
• assist with ordering supplies
• call patients the day after procedures and document follow-up
• provide health education.
