What you'll do

• Perform routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies.
• Present images and patient information/history to the Radiologist.
• Assist and position patients.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release patients with proper post procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.

Experience

2-3 years MRI experience preferred.
