The Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic - Ground Transport is an onsite role based in Clinton, MD. This role exists to provide expert paramedic care to diverse patient populations, including adult subspecialties and pediatrics, during inter-hospital transport. The Paramedic collaborates with medical control physicians and works closely with EMTs and Critical Care nurses to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
What you'll do
- Contributes to department goals and adheres to safety standards.
- Provides direct patient care based on assessment of physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Communicates clinical information clearly and maintains accurate medical records.
- Delivers expert paramedic care in ambulances.
- Collaborates with medical control physicians.
- Administers pharmacologic agents and intravenous fluids.
- Ensures safe ambulance operations.
