Senior Antenna Design Engineer

Job overview

The Senior Antenna Design Engineer role is onsite in Arlington, TX, or at the company’s Saratoga, CA facility; some travel between sites may be required. The target base pay is $160,000–$195,000 annually. E-Space is developing a low Earth orbit satellite system for Internet of Things solutions and services. The engineer owns antenna design, simulation, and validation from concept through hardware testing for satellite and ground infrastructure. The role works across engineering and manufacturing teams to meet system requirements, validate designs, and establish antenna design practices; occasional extended hours or weekends may be needed during critical periods.

What you'll do

• Design antenna systems and phased arrays using ANSYS HFSS
• define antenna architectures
• perform electromagnetic simulations and optimization
• use MATLAB or Python for analysis and automation
• support prototyping, integration, test planning, and validation
• collaborate with systems, RF, payload, network, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
• mentor junior engineers and help establish design standards.
