What you'll do

• Manage purchasing for assigned materials, supplies, and services
• review requisitions and specifications
• request and evaluate supplier quotes
• select suppliers and place purchase orders within approval limits
• negotiate pricing and delivery terms
• monitor orders and supplier commitments
• coordinate with internal departments to resolve purchasing, receiving, quality, and billing issues
• review inventory and reorder needs
• identify alternate suppliers
• analyze costs and supply risks
• support supplier onboarding
• monitor supplier performance
• resolve invoice discrepancies
• and maintain purchasing records.
