The AI Engineer, Full Stack position is onsite in Jacksonville, FL. The anticipated salary is $110,000–$190,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. The role supports Fortegra’s internal technology teams by connecting emerging AI capabilities with internal platforms and products. The engineer identifies valuable AI use cases, builds and evaluates prototypes, and takes selected solutions through production deployment and ongoing optimization. The work helps teams adopt useful AI capabilities while improving the security, scalability, and reliability of shared engineering systems.

What you'll do

• Monitor AI models, frameworks, tools, and research
• identify AI opportunities with internal stakeholders
• prototype solutions integrated with APIs, data pipelines, and internal platforms
• advise teams on AI solution trade-offs
• deliver initiatives from scoping through deployment, monitoring, and optimization
• identify reusable components and platform improvements
• conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
