What you'll do
- Administer medications
- perform medical intakes and assess fitness for incarceration as needed
- respond to sick-call requests and follow up with a medical provider when needed
- change dressings as directed
- perform 14-day physicals
- manage chronic care
- provide patient education
- respond to medical emergencies and direct life-saving measures
- maintain working pharmacology knowledge
- provide insight and direction to medically trained personnel as needed
- comply with applicable laws and regulations.
