Sign Install and Service Technician

Job overview

The Sign Install and Service Technician works onsite in Meriden, CT and at customer locations. Compensation is $28–$40 per hour. Tim Sign & Lighting Service serves the Meriden area and beyond with commercial sign and lighting installation and service. The technician installs, repairs, and maintains signage and lighting systems, using trade skills and equipment to complete safe, quality work and communicate with customers at job sites.

What you'll do

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial signs and lighting systems
• operate aerial lifts, bucket trucks, and other equipment
• read blueprints, work orders, and installation diagrams
• perform electrical connections and wiring for illuminated signs
• follow safety codes and quality standards
• communicate with customers onsite
• maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
