What you'll do

• Prepare and cook food for residents, guests, and employees according to planned menus and standard recipes
• plate food to portion and garnish guidelines
• ensure adequate preparation, freshness, cooking status, and seasoning
• communicate shortages to the supervisor
• assist kitchen staff
• follow food rotation policies
• clean and inspect kitchen equipment and work areas
• maintain a positive team environment and promote positive relations with residents, families, and guests.
