The Line Cook role is onsite in Georgetown, TX, with compensation of $17 per hour. Brookwood in Georgetown Vocational’s café serves its community, including the Citizens of BiG, customers, and volunteers. This role prepares and cooks food to recipe and quality standards, supports café service and catering, and helps maintain a clean, safe kitchen. It contributes to reliable daily café operations and a positive experience for guests and coworkers.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meats, vegetables, soups, desserts, and other hot foods using standardized recipes
• stock line stations
• follow portioning, plating, quality, and sanitation standards
• prepare food for special events and catering
• make specialty drinks
• wash dishes
• assist front-of-house service as requested
• and report unsafe conditions.
