What you'll do
- Accompany the physician into examination rooms and transcribe histories, physical exams, assessments, and plans
- document encounters, diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions as dictated
- transcribe orders and document procedures or hyperbaric treatments
- review medical histories and prior results
- follow basic ICD-10 documentation requirements and facility policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission requirements
- perform other clerical tasks supporting provider productivity and clinic workflow.
