Pharmacy Technician — Prescription Care Coordinator

The Pharmacy Technician — Prescription Care Coordinator role is onsite in The Colony, TX, with pay of $22–$24 per hour based on experience and certifications. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Central Time, with training from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Central Time for the first two weeks. The role helps patients access needed medications and navigate affordability challenges. The coordinator connects patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and assistance programs to resolve prescription access issues. By coordinating approvals, fulfillment, and financial assistance while documenting cases and protecting patient privacy, the role supports timely, patient-centered medication access.

What you'll do

• Serve as a primary contact for prescription assistance and pharmacy support
• coordinate with prescribers, pharmacies, and patient assistance programs on approvals, fulfillment, and financial assistance
• handle inbound and outbound calls
• communicate updates while maintaining HIPAA compliance
• document interactions and track requests in CRM and pharmacy systems
• follow up on pending approvals and unresolved issues
• collaborate with healthcare teams and program partners to address medication access barriers.
