Senior Director of Grants and Contracts

The Senior Director of Grants and Contracts role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Compensation is $60–$70 per hour. The role leads the Grants and Contracts team and supports the organization’s grant and contract processes. This position oversees grant and contract administration from pre-award through closeout, including budgets, reporting, compliance, audits, and subrecipient monitoring. It also supervises and develops the team to provide timely, high-quality support across the organization.

What you'll do

• Manage and improve standardized grant procedures
• oversee grant and subrecipient budgets, contracts, reporting, reimbursements, compliance, audits, closeouts, and database documentation
• lead the annual Single Audit
• supervise, train, and develop Grants and Contracts staff
• collaborate with other departments and assist the CFO as needed.
