What you'll do

• Perform engineering activities throughout all phases of a project lifecycle.
• Perform structural analysis and prepare detailed design calculations.
• Prepare and review construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Learn to develop structural model using finite element modeling program.
• Refer to applicable building codes for appropriate loads, analysis procedures, and requirements.
• Assistance with responding to contractor's submittals and questions during construction.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other design disciplines.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in structural engineering from an ABET-accredited program

Experience

0-5 years of engineering experience in concrete, steel and wood design
