Litigation Attorney — Hybrid

The Litigation Attorney role is hybrid, with a choice of Seattle or Tacoma, WA offices and remote work while spending two to three days per week in the selected office. Compensation is $130,000–$180,000 per year. The role joins a civil litigation firm handling complex civil and healthcare-related matters. The attorney manages litigation matters and advances clients’ interests through legal research, drafting, discovery, depositions, negotiations, and courtroom representation. The position contributes to the legal team’s work on civil, professional liability, and healthcare-related disputes while building client relationships and taking ownership of cases.

What you'll do

• Manage and contribute to a caseload involving civil litigation, professional liability, and healthcare-related disputes
• draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
• conduct legal research
• take and defend depositions
• develop litigation strategies
• represent clients in negotiations, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings
• collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals
• build client relationships and take ownership of legal work.

Why this role

Requires active Washington State Bar membership and 3+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense, health law, or civil litigation. Medical malpractice defense, healthcare liability, and professional liability experience are preferred but not required.
