What you'll do

• Manage Building Division operations and staff
• enforce building codes and assist the public with code interpretation
• prepare proposed code changes
• direct plan review and permit approvals
• review certificates of occupancy and authorize enforcement actions
• prepare the annual division budget
• maintain permit records
• train staff and inspectors
• review inspection schedules and workloads
• conduct plan reviews and safety inspections
• and coordinate with county leadership and the Planning Manager.
